Moroccan Floor

One great way to use Moroccan tiles is in the form of floor tiles. The most suitable Moroccan tiles for floors are larger field tiles, such as 4×4s and 6×2s, and mosaic tiles with more basic patterns. Especially in the case of high foot traffic areas, mosaics that are made up of larger pieces are recommended because of wear and possible chipping. Both kinds work very well because they have a rugged texture, which is mainly due to uneven corners, edges and grout lines. These imperfections add to the charm and beauty of hand made tiles and occur naturally. Moroccan style floors are most frequently found in bathrooms, showers, pools, and patios.
